The Jewel of The Windward Islands:
Mountainous and lush, this jewel of the Windwards is a place of natural wonders where you are greeted with warm hospitality. It's a steep, volcanic island where the twin peaks of The Pitons rise over 2,000 feet at the water's edge. Further inland, the rain forests shelter wild orchids, giant ferns and birds of paradise. You can visit Soufriére, the world's only drive-in volcano, or relax in the earth's rejuvenating heat in the pools at Diamond Baths. Spend an evening in Marigot Bay, one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean. Don't forget, there's the incredible Friday night "jump-up" at Gros Islet on Rodney Bay.

Sailing Conditions: The Windward Islands promise lively sailing. Winds blow from the northeast in winter months and from the southeast during the summer at 10-25 knots, strengthening around the northern ends of the islands. This itinerary also offers sailors the opportunity to make a few longer, open-water passages between islands. Some sails can take 7-10 hours.
